'Inspiring and achieving success for all'
Positioned in the heart of Upton Cross village, on the edge of Bodmin Moor, we are surrounded by a wealth of mining history, farming and glorious countryside. A wonderful place to grow and learn.
We dovetail our learning through each of our year groups from our 2½ year olds all the way up to Year 6 school leavers. Our staff work hard to give every child the best chance of success in primary school. As a small school, there is a certain kind of family atmosphere. We all support each other and certainly track each individual on their paths through the school.
We are fortunate to have a well-established ‘Forest School’ on our grounds, where all our children experience a whole range of outdoor learning. We have our pet chickens for a regular supply of eggs and an amazing kitchen garden which is all maintained by children, staff and volunteers.
Pupil voice is important in the day to day running of our school and we have an active ‘School Council’ that meet regularly to help make decisions for our children regarding charity days, playground activities etc.
We hope you find all you need from our website, but better still come and visit to see us in action!
Emily Goodey - Head of School
We all have a responsibility to act if we are worried about a child. All children have a right to be safe no matter who they are or what their circumstance.
